Staples is a large chain of office supply stores that sells their own brand of Staples paper shredders. There are both pro’s and con’s to a store the size of Staples selling office supply products such as a paper shredder. With a large corporate store, you get a lot of technical support and will always be able to deal with someone if you have a problem. You won’t have any trouble returning a defective paper shredder to the store if it’s during the return time or getting warranty repairs if you’re under warranty. Apart from that, Staples paper shredders are generally pretty cheap. Some of the cons of when you buy a paper shredder from Staples is quality. Staples brand shredders have been known to be really hit and miss on quality. Large stores selling a lot of different store-brand products are known to suffer quality control issues. This is no different with Staples. I have owned two Staples paper shredders and have had good experiences with both of them.
