Staples has the Identity Guard 6-Sheet Straight Cut Paper Shredder for only $19.99 right now. This paper shredder shreds up to 6 sheets at a time and has a decent size 2.5 gallon bin. I have owned this paper shredder for over 2 years and have not had a problem with it. I do a good bit of shredding and shred about 4-10 sheets per day of junk mail and credit card offers. This shredder is great for day to day tasks.
It has some problems with credit cards and drivers’ licenses. I recently renewed my DL and had to shred my old one, and it took 3 passes through before the whole thing was shredded. If you don’t shred a lot of thick documents, or plastic, this little guy might be the best bet for you, and at $20 you can’t go wrong.
